Green Foundation Nepal is a non-profit social entrepreneurship organization established in 2012 with the vision of a wealthy nation, healthy natural resources, and happy people. It was founded by social and development activists to promote the sustainable management of natural resources such as forests, land, water, and agriculture. Green Foundation Nepal facilitates multi-stakeholder dialogues, sustainable resource management, participatory research, policy and media advocacy, green enterprise development, and the strengthening of farmers’ and forest-dependent people’s organizations. The founders and board of directors have extensive experience in natural resource management and development sectors. The composition of the board of directors and working staff is unique and inclusive.
