On 16 October 2023, a consultation program was organized at Triveni Rural Municipality, Rolpa for the enforcement of the Local Forest Act and preparation of subsequent working procedure. The program was chaired by Mr. Tope Bahadur Dangi- Chairperson, Federation of Local Forest, Chief Guest Mr. Karna Bahadur Batha Magar- Chairperson, Triveni Rural Municipality, Mr. Lekhmani Dangi- vice-chairperson- Triveni Rural Municipality, Mr. Mohammad Kaur Kha- Central Vice Chairperson- FECOFUN, Mr. Bishnu Bahadur K.C- Chairperson, GFN Dang Chapter including other participants from diverse sectors. All the participants provided valuable insights regarding the issues and challenges along with the way forward. Moreover, a 10-member advisory committee was formed for procedure preparation under the chairmanship of Mr. Tope Bahadur Dangi.
