Discussion/ meeting was conducted in the different municipalities of TF working area of Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali Provinces. The interaction was done in the presence of the Municipality Chairperson, V chairperson, chief Administrative Officer, Fecofun representative, and other stakeholders. GFN Focal person and CPCs facilitated the meeting and discussion was done on project activity, formation and amendment of the local forest act, renewal of operational plan of CF, possible forest-based enterprises, and allocation of funds from Palika to forestry and environment sector.

The interaction meeting proved to be an invaluable platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas, collaborate, and contribute to the advancement of the forestry and environment sector within the municipality. The inputs and recommendations generated during the meeting will play a vital role in shaping policies, programs, and initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable development, and enhancing the overall well-being of the local communities.
