The Enhancing the Community-Led Economic and Livelihood (ECOLEL) Project in Nepal, implemented under the Rights and Resources Initiative, was carried out in Salyan and Dang districts with the aim of strengthening community-based enterprises and improving local livelihoods. Through this project, enterprises from both districts were brought together to participate in enterprise development training, financial literacy sessions, and hands-on practical training designed to enhance business skills and sustainability. A strong emphasis was placed on womenтАЩs economic empowerment, with 40 women entrepreneurs receiving direct, targeted training to build their capacities in enterprise management, financial planning, and market-oriented production, thereby supporting inclusive and community-led economic growth.
