Green Foundation Nepal works at the grass-root level, focusing on the needs and requirements of the local communities. As a social non-profit organization, it advocates for the responsible use of natural resources, focusing on forests, lands, water and agriculture. We involve young researchers and stakeholders to conduct participatory research convening around identification and remediation of environmental challenges. GFN also strengthen producer groups and enterprise farmers groups by directly providing resources, trainings and opportunities to enhance their capacity for sustainable management. GFN involves directly and indirectly aligned with various consortium partners and stakeholders in dialogues with policymakers at all tiers of government to promote inclusive policies that ensure long-term environmental and economic benefits and reflect on the needs of the users. These collaborations ensure the buildup of stewardship between and among the stakeholders to develop a holistic solution for a better environment.
