With the aim of establishing the forest based enterprise in 20 different local government, as per the activity of Tenure Facility Project, GFN has been conducting one day entrepreneurship dialogue, three days entrepreneurship development training and skill development training.
One day dialogue was conducted in the palika which helps to identify the potential forest based enterprises. Similarly, 3 days community forest entrepreneurship development training was given to 22 participants with in the period of 13th- 22nd Ashoj. This training motivated participants to operate forest-based enterprises with in their community and help to develop the business plan of their proposed enterprise.
Among different potential enterprise, leaf plate enterprise was selected on the basis of availability of raw material and its sustainability Duna tapri making training was conducted in Kalimati Rural Municipality, Salyan was from 7th to 11th poush. The training was organized by Green Foundation Nepal with the coordination of Kalimati Rural Municipality. Thirteen participants were benefited from the training. The participants were positive to operate Duna Tapari enterprise in near future and hope that this will them to generate income.
