Green Foundation Nepal (GFN) is leading the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, and we are excited to invite everyone to the closing event on 10th December 2024, marking the culmination of this impactful global movement. The event will bring together communities, activists, and partners to reflect on the progress made and to inspire further action toward a violence-free society.

1. Cultural Performances (गीतिनाटक):
   The event will feature powerful गीतिनाटक (musical theater) performances, which creatively highlight the pressing issues of gender-based violence, women’s rights, and the urgent need for societal transformation. These performances will be a unique way to engage the audience, combining art and activism to inspire change.
2. Workshops and Presentations:
   A series of workshops and presentations will provide insight into women’s rights, gender equality, and the role of natural resource management in empowering women. These interactive sessions are designed to educate, empower, and equip attendees with the tools to take action against gender-based violence in their communities.
3. Interactive Dialogues on Women’s Rights and Gender Equity:
   The interactive dialogues will offer an open platform for discussion on the importance of women’s rights and gender equity. Community leaders, activists, and participants will exchange ideas and solutions on how to build a more inclusive, violence-free society where women can thrive and contribute to decision-making processes.
4. Collaborative Partnerships:
   This event is made possible through the collaboration of Green Foundation Nepal with esteemed partner organizations, including WRRN (Women Rehabilitation and Resilience Network), RDN, FECOFUN, Ashmita Nepal, AFFON, and HIMAWANTI. Together, these organizations are driving the campaign’s message of equality, justice, and a commitment to ending gender-based violence.
