We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our event celebrating International Bamboo Day, organized jointly by the Family Private Forest Federation, Green Foundation Nepal, and the Women’s Rights Resource Network (WRRN). Held on 2nd September 2081 at Alpha House in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, the event centered around the theme “Next Generation Bamboo: Solution, Innovation, and Design.”
We were honored to have the Chief Guest, the Forest and Environment Minister of Bagmati Province, who shared valuable insights on the role of bamboo in sustainable development and environmental conservation. The dialogue program titled “One Bamboo: Many Benefits” brought together experts, enthusiasts, and community members to discuss the multifaceted benefits of bamboo and explore innovative solutions for its sustainable use.
Participants engaged in insightful discussions, shared experiences, and showcased innovative bamboo products, highlighting the importance of this versatile resource.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the speakers, participants, and organizers who made this event a success. Your contributions were invaluable in fostering awareness and collaboration around the potential of bamboo in promoting sustainable development.
