Green Foundation Nepal would like to congratulate all the newly elected member of FENFIT and wish the success in their tenure. We hope to work in collaboration in the forest enterprises related issues and Green Foundation Nepal promises you to raise the voices of entrepreneurs regarding policy hurdles and problems they are facing in the sector of forestry.

GFN conducted an interaction programme on the 8th of May entitled “Felicitation nad Welcome to newly elected member of Federation of Forest Based Industry and Trade, Nepal (FENFIT) and role of private sector in development of forest enterprise” at Uddhami Ghar, Buddhanagar. The programme was chaired by Mr. Jog raj Giri of Radio Prakriti, Dang. Mr. Ghan Shyam Pandey, chair of GFN put the tika and Khada and gave best wishes for their tenure period.

The newly elected president of FENFIT, Mr. Kapil Adhikari raised his voice regarding the policy made by government which created hurdles for privated sectors to work smoothly in the sector of forest enterprises. He further added enterpreneur has done many social work, so good work should always be promoted and illegal work should be punished. While other memebers also spoke on the change in perception of seeing forest based enterpreneur.
